In honour of Martin Block, who started the Aspen Winter Conferences, the Block family funds a $500 award to a young scientist partecipating to the conference. Applications, supported by a brief resume' of the scientific activity, are to be addressed to S. Zane or R. Turolla before December 15th, 2008. The SOC will examine the applications and the decision will be announced during the conference.
